Coming from the fields of chemistry and molecular biology, Dalicon's
founders have acquired their bioIT expertise as managers of the Dutch EMBnet node, the
national bioinformatics centre at Nijmegen University in the
Netherlands.
Dalicon's software developers combine thorough knowledge of biology with
extensive experience of information and database technology. A selection
of the skills of Dalicon personnel:

Some examples of projects that Dalicon was hired for are:
- Introducing a
SRS/Unix-based
literature database system
into a Microsoft Windows eCommerce environment and automating
the updating of the literature content.
- Creating an IDL tool
for visualising and analysing large laboratory data sets.
- Modifying an in-house developed database system to assure
consistent laboratory data input.
