Dr. van Haeringen Laboratorium BV is a leading laboratory in
the Netherlands performing DNA-tests in all farm animals.
The priority of VHL covers the area of DNA-typing. Service testing is routinely
performed at a high quality level.
VHL has developed a laboratory technique for rapid Microbial
Community Profiling and Characterisation (MCPC). Dalicon has created a data analysis and
visualisation tool to be used on the large data sets that result from
such MCPC runs. The software is capable of e.g. rapidly creating 2D and 3D views of the data,
perform hierarchical clustering to automatically group similar samples and
apply Principal Component Analysis and Discriminant Analysis + Manova on
the samples/clusters.
